After two main contenders disappeared early from TdF, leaving only Nibali with full team support, was a time for gregarios to show off. So instead of watching Froome lookng at stems or Contador talking about steaks quality we had more interesting show than usual. That’s what French like – blood, sweat and surprises ;-).
One of many “second line riders” is Rafal Majka who won polka dot jersey – the best climber of 2014 TdF! In my opinion the next most important prize after yellow jersey.
